Rose hip supplement effective for arthritis
A new study out of Denmark suggests that rose hips may be highly effective at relieving arthritis pain.
The study found that more than 80 per cent of the men and women with arthritic hips, knees or hands who took part in the trial reported reduced pain after three weeks of taking the rose hip supplement.

They were given a placebo or five grams daily of LitoZin, a powder made from the seeds and shells of wild rose hips, of the species Rosa canina.
Using a standard score to measure pain and stiffness, the study found that 82 per cent said pain had reduced compared with 49 per cent of those taking the placebo.
